International Resources Group Systems South Asia Pvt Ltd is based over in Aliganj, Lucknow. We are at Hig 8 in Sector E. It’s a decent area, quite residential but with offices scattered around. We focus on systems and work that reaches across South Asia, though our daily life is very much centered here in Lucknow. The office isn't anything too flashy. We have our computers set up and a small area for meetings. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait for the generator to kick in while we chat. We do a lot of coordination and technical work that involves a lot of emails and long calls. It can get pretty busy, especially when we have deadlines for projects in other countries. The staff here is mostly local, and we enjoy the quiet of Sector E compared to the more crowded parts of the city. We don’t really go in for big speeches or fancy marketing. We just show up, do the work that’s required, and head home. There's a small tea stall around the corner where we usually get our afternoon break fix. The atmosphere is relaxed but we stay on top of our tasks. It’s a bit of a mix of high-level systems work and the everyday reality of running an office in Uttar Pradesh. We like it that way because it keeps us grounded while we deal with bigger regional systems.
