Interior Looks

Interior Looks is located on Gurudwara Road in Kotla Mubarakpur. The address is 1876. It’s a crowded area, so finding a parking spot can be a real headache some days. We’ve been in this building for years. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to actually do it. Inside, it’s mostly just us surrounded by samples of tiles and wood. We have a big window that looks out onto the street, so we see everyone walking by. Sometimes we just wave at the regulars. It’s a busy life here. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. Usually, my hands are covered in sawdust or glue, so I have to use my elbow. We try to keep things simple. People come in with an idea, and we see if we can make it work with what’s available. Sometimes we have to tell them it won't work, which isn't fun, but it's better to be honest. We have a lot of old catalogs under the counter that we use as scrap paper. The fan in the ceiling makes a clicking noise that you get used to after ten minutes. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people. We just keep going and try to get the measurements right. It is not always easy but we stay late to finish.
