Intek Power

Intek Power is right in the middle of the bustle at Meena Bazar, near Jama Masjid, at shop number 632. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded and loud it gets. We’ve been here for years, dealing with batteries, inverters, and all sorts of power equipment. The shop is small, but we pack a lot into it. Dealing with backup power is important around here because you never know when the lights might go out. We spend our days testing units and helping people figure out which battery fits their needs. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. The air is always full of the sounds of the market and the smell of street food from nearby. At 632, we don't have much room for fancy displays. We just stack the stock and try to keep a path open. It’s a gritty, busy place to work, but we like being in the heart of the action. Most of our customers are locals or people who have been coming to Meena Bazar for decades. We don't do much in the way of promotion. The heat in Meena Bazar during July is something else, but we stay here because this is where our customers are. We have stacks of old battery casings in the back waiting to be recycled. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get around the shop. Most of our deals are done with a handshake and a note in our book. We just try to help people and keep their fans running.
