Our building is located at 310 Block A within the IDSA campus. It’s a big area on Rao Tula Ram Marg, right in the Delhi Cantt area. We focus on defense and security stuff here. It’s a serious place with a lot of books and research papers everywhere. You can see people walking around thinking about very complicated things. We have a lot of rooms filled with files and people writing reports. It is not like a regular office where people are selling things. We just look at facts and try to figure out what is going on with the country's safety. The campus is actually quite nice and green, which is a relief from the rest of New Delhi. We’ve been here for a long time. Security is a bit tight at the gate, as you would expect for a place like this. We spend most of our time reading and discussing policy. It can get a bit dry sometimes, but it’s important work. The coffee machine in the break room is where most of the real talking happens. We don't have a lot of flashy stuff. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of smart people trying to do their jobs. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, but we manage. It’s a very stable place to work. We are just part of the everyday life here at the Development Enclave. There is always some new paper to read or a meeting to attend.
