Inspiring Saddal

You can find us in the Kirti Nagar Industrial Area, specifically at Timber Block B 59. It is a very busy and noisy part of Delhi because of all the wood shops and factories around. There is always the sound of saws and trucks moving in and out of the block. Our place is tucked away and can be a bit hard to find if you aren't looking closely. We handle a lot of the hands-on work that comes with being in a timber hub. The air is often filled with sawdust and the smell of fresh cut wood. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning that works properly, so it gets quite hot in the summer months. Most of the time we are on our feet moving things around or checking on orders. We know the other folks working in this block pretty well. It is a tight community where people help each other out with loading or borrowing tools. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. Our desks are usually covered in scraps of paper and measuring tapes. It isn't a glamorous job by any means, but it is what we know. We don't have big titles or formal meetings. We just get together in the morning, see what needs to be done, and get to it. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment comes in. That's just how life is here in Kirti Nagar.
