Our office is tucked away in Palam Village at Wz 605 in the Krishanakanta area. New Delhi is always noisy and moving around us but we have our own little corner here. We deal with towers and the hardware that goes with them. It is not the kind of place with a big shiny lobby or leather chairs. It is a working office through and through. The streets around Palam are narrow and a bit of a maze if you are not from around here. We spend our days looking at site plans and talking to the technicians on the phone. There is always a lot of logistics to figure out and boxes to move. Sometimes the power goes out but that is just how it is in this part of the city. We have a small team and most of us have worked together for years. We know the local tea stalls and where to get a decent lunch nearby. The address sounds a bit complicated on paper but once you find Krishanakanta it is easy enough to spot us. We focus on the physical side of things mostly. It is dusty work sometimes and our desks are usually covered in papers and parts. We keep all the records in old metal cabinets. No one wears suits here. We just get the jobs finished. The neighbors are mostly families and small shops who have been here as long as we have.
