We've been here at 2 33 Nehru Nagar for a while now. It's a busy part of New Delhi, and honestly, the noise from the street is something you just get used to after a week. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and some old filing cabinets that probably need replacing. Most mornings start with someone making tea and complaining about the traffic on the way in. We handle a lot of paperwork here, mostly related to stuff between India and Canada, hence the name Indo Canadian Consulatancy Services. It gets pretty dusty in the summer, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows, though it doesn't seem to help much. The neighbors are alright, mostly shops and other small businesses. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, and we all just sit around and talk until it comes back on. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. We are just a small group of people working out of this space in Delhi. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, there are stacks of folders everywhere. It’s a practical place. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and see us working at our stations. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a bit, and we like the local food stalls nearby. It’s just how we operate day to day, nothing more to it.
