Our setup is located at C 2 C 138 in Pocket 2 of Janakpuri. We are over here in New Delhi, and the zip code is 58. It’s a regular residential pocket, and we share the space with Mr. Vinod Sharma. The name Indian Satallite Research And Development Organisation sounds quite grand, but our day-to-day life here is pretty grounded. We spend a lot of time sitting on computers and looking at different sets of data. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, which is good for the kind of thinking we have to do. Janakpuri is a nice part of Delhi, and it isn't too loud if you stay inside the pockets away from the traffic. We don't have a big laboratory or anything like that. It's more of a typical office environment where we organize all our projects. People sometimes walk by and ask if we have rockets, but obviously, we don’t. It’s mostly research work and technical planning. The rooms are a bit cramped with all the books and piles of papers we keep. We’ve been here for a long while now. It’s not a corporate office with a fancy lobby. You just ring the doorbell and someone will come to let you in. We like to keep things simple. There is no need for fancy furniture or expensive signs out front. We just focus on the development side of the projects. It’s a small group of us working here. We usually have our tea together and talk about the work. It’s a decent and honest way to spend the day in the city.
