Indian Diamond Gemological Institute

You can find us in Karol Bagh, right in Guru Kirpa Chamber. We are in room 108. It’s a busy part of town with lots of trade going on all day long. We spend our days looking at diamonds and gemstones. We check them for quality and write down what we see. It’s detailed work and you need good eyes for it. The Indian Diamond Gemological Institute has been in this building for a long time. People bring us stones and we give them a fair look. There is always a lot of noise from the street below but we focus on the rocks under our lamps. We have our magnifying tools and scales all set up. It’s a small office but it fits what we need. We aren't trying to sell you anything, we just tell you what the stone is based on the specs. Most of the jewelers around here know our name and trust our word. We keep things pretty straightforward. No fancy lobby or free coffee, just the work. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when several people come at once with their packets. But that’s just how it is in Karol Bagh. We like being in the thick of the market. It’s a good spot for this kind of business. We’ve seen all kinds of gems come through these doors since we started here.
