India Today

We are located at B 6 in West Patel Nagar, right here in New Delhi. It is a pretty crowded area, and finding parking is always a bit of a struggle for everyone who visits. The office for India Today is in a building that has seen better days, but it serves us well. We have a lot of stairs to climb, which keeps us somewhat fit I suppose. Inside, there is always the sound of people talking on phones or the hum of the old air conditioners. We keep the windows shut to block out the noise from the street vendors and the traffic outside. Our desks are pretty close together, so there is not much privacy, but it makes it easy to ask a colleague a quick question. We have stacks of files and old newspapers tucked away in every corner. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. Most of our staff have been coming to this same spot for years. We get our lunch from the local stalls nearby because the food is good and cheap. It’s a very local vibe here. We don't have fancy meeting rooms, just a big table where we sit and figure things out. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to keep up with everything happening in the city. The metro station is close by, so that makes the commute easier for most of the team.
