Icici Bank

This Icici Bank is situated at 4 6 in the Old Double Story area of Lajpat Nagar 4. We are up on the third floor of the building. Being in New Delhi 24 means it is always noisy outside with the traffic and the street vendors, but once you get up to our floor, it quietens down a little bit. The building is older, as the name suggests, and has that classic Delhi feel to it. It is not one of those modern glass towers you see in Gurgaon or other parts of the city. We just have a plain office where we manage banking tasks for the local residents and shop owners. The stairs are a bit steep, so we see people huffing a bit when they arrive. We don't have a lot of extra space, just enough for the desks and the people who come in to see us. It gets quite warm in the summer, but we keep the fans and the air conditioning going as best as we can. Lajpat Nagar is a busy place, and we are right in the thick of it. Most folks who come here are regulars from the neighborhood who we've known for years. We just get on with the paperwork and the transactions without much fuss. It’s a practical spot for a bank branch. We don't really do anything flashy, just the basic work every day.
