We are based on the first floor at C 198 in Lajpat Nagar Iv. Being in this part of New Delhi means there is a lot of energy and movement all around us. This Icici Bank Ltd branch is not very large, but we make the most of the space we have. You have to walk up the stairs to find us, which keeps it a bit quieter than the shops on the ground floor. We spend our time managing accounts and helping people with their banking needs. It is a very practical environment. We have got the usual office furniture and computers that keep us busy from morning till evening. The area is famous for its markets, so we get a lot of shoppers and traders coming in to drop off cash or check on their balances. It can get a bit cramped when it is raining or particularly hot outside, as everyone wants to be indoors. We don't bother with all the corporate talk. It is just us here, working through the daily tasks and trying to stay on top of the paperwork. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the local blocks. We have grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years. It is a straightforward place where we just focus on doing the job right for the local community. It is a simple way of life here.
