Running Ibl Interior Decorator out of Khajuri Khas keeps us pretty busy every day. Our workspace isn't a polished showroom with perfect lighting. It’s more of a workshop where there are fabric samples, wood chips, and rolls of wallpaper tucked into every available corner. You can usually find a thick layer of dust on the windowsills because of the busy street outside. Khajuri Khas is a loud, active area, and that energy definitely spills into our office. We spend most of our time looking at floor plans or talking to vendors on the phone. The chairs are a bit mismatched, and the table we use for meetings is covered in scratches from all the tools and samples we toss on it. We don't put on any airs here. We’re usually in dusty clothes and old shoes because that's what the work requires. Someone is always making a fresh pot of tea, and there’s usually a plate of biscuits sitting around somewhere. It’s a small, practical operation where we just focus on the projects we have in front of us. We don't have a marketing department or a big website. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s an honest way to work, and we like being part of this local community. Our days are long and a bit messy, but that’s just how interior work goes in this part of town.
