Our place is Hdfc Bank Ltd at A 50 Ohm Vihar in Uttam Nagar. We are right near Gagan Bharti School, so it gets pretty noisy when the kids are getting out for the day. This part of New Delhi is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. The office is a bit cramped, honestly. We’ve got desks squeezed in where they fit. We spend our days checking IDs, counting out notes, and filling out forms that seem to never end. It’s not the most exciting job, but it’s important to the people who live around here. We know who’s who in the neighborhood. We don't use a lot of big words or corporate talk. If you need something done with your account, we just do it. Sometimes the light bulbs flicker and we have to remind the landlord to fix them. It’s just those little things you deal with in an older building. We try to be quick so you aren't waiting forever in the heat. There’s usually a stack of newspapers on the table for people to read while they wait. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We’re just a small crew working in Ohm Vihar, keeping the books balanced and the customers taken care of as best as we can. It’s just a practical spot where the work never stops until the shutter goes down.
