Harbans Kaushal

Harbans Kaushal is basically just me and a couple of others working out of Navyug Market in Ghaziabad. If you know the market, you know it's always crowded and loud, which I actually quite like. We’ve been set up here for a good while now. It’s not a big corporate office; it’s just a room where we handle our daily business. People stop by when they’re already out doing their shopping or running errands in the area. We do a bit of everything depending on what the day brings. It’s a very local way of working. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked, and we just deal with it. I started this because I wanted to work for myself in my own neighborhood. Navyug Market has changed a lot over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing, but we’re still tucked away in our spot. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign out front. Most of our work comes from people just knowing my name or hearing about us from a friend. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. I usually have a tea stall guy bring over some chai in the afternoon, and that’s when we get most of the paperwork finished. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to do a decent job for the folks who come through the door and keep the business running.
