Hanuman Moulds

Working out of Mayapuri Industrial Area in the Rampura Colony at BE/F8, Hanuman Moulds is a pretty gritty place. If you know Mayapuri, you know it is all about industry and making things. Our shop is no different. It’s full of heavy machines and the smell of cutting oil and metal shavings. We make moulds, which is a lot of precise work even though the environment looks a bit rough. There is a lot of noise from the neighboring units, so you usually have to raise your voice to be heard. We don’t have an office staff or a reception area; you just walk into the workshop. There are blocks of metal sitting around waiting to be shaped into something useful. We spend our days measuring things down to the millimeter and making sure the machines are running right. It’s hot in the summer and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. But that is just the nature of this kind of work. We aren't here to look pretty; we are here to get the moulds finished so they can go to the factories. It’s a lot of hands-on labor and long hours standing on the concrete floor. People who need this kind of work know where to find us in the colony. It is just a solid, hardworking part of the industrial area.
