Hans Raj Singh

I’m Hans Raj Singh and I have my small office over at Tis Hazari on Tehsil Road, specifically at T 36. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded and busy it gets with all the legal work and people moving around. My place is just a small part of that big rush, but I’ve been here long enough that I don’t mind the noise anymore. The building itself is a bit of a maze, and I spend a lot of my time navigating the halls or sitting at my desk with piles of documents. It gets very hot during the summer, and we just leave the windows open and hope for a breeze, even if it brings in the dust from the street. I don’t have a lot of people working for me, so I handle most of the paperwork and talking to people myself. It’s a lot of waiting and a lot of writing, which is just how things are on Tehsil Road. Sometimes I step out for a quick tea just to get away from the files for a minute. The office at T 36 is old and filled with the smell of paper and ink, but it’s where I’ve spent most of my working life. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s an important one for the people who come to see me.
