Our workshop is tucked away in Pira Garhi, specifically on School Road inside Dairy Wali Gali. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit of a maze back here, but look for number 487/3. We have been doing this for quite some time now, working with metal and making moulds. The shop floor is usually covered in some dust and metal shavings because that is just the nature of the work. It is noisy during the day when the machines are running, so we usually have to talk a bit louder to be heard. We are not a big factory, just a small crew of us who know how to handle the tools. The entrance is a bit narrow, so getting large materials in and out takes some patience. We usually have the heavy shutters halfway up to keep the heat out during the summer months. There is an old wooden table in the corner where we keep the measurements and papers. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, but we just wait it out and start back up. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People just come in, show us what they need, and we figure out how to make it happen. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The lane outside gets busy with milk vans and people going to the school nearby.
