Nai Sarak is one of those places that never really stays still, and that is where you will find us at Gupta Saree Kendra. We are located at Shop Number 4128, which is right on the 26 Main Road Market in the Jogiwara area. If you know Delhi, you know how packed these lanes get with people looking for clothes and fabrics. Our shop is right in the thick of it all. We spend the whole day unfolding sarees and showing them to people who come in from all over. The market noise is always there in the background, with rickshaws passing by and other shopkeepers calling out. It is a small space but we make it work with stacks of fabric everywhere you look. Jogiwara has a lot of history and being part of the Main Road Market means we see a lot of different faces every single day. Some people are looking for something for a wedding while others just want a simple saree for daily wear. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us here making sure everyone gets a look at what they want. It gets hot and dusty out there on Nai Sarak, but once people step into the shop, it’s all about the colors and the work on the cloth. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and the shop feels like a second home to us now.
