Gudia Toys & Games

Finding us at Gali No 8 in the Shahdara Friends Colony Industrial Area is a bit of a task because the roads around here are always full of big trucks and tempos. We have been at 425 for a long time, surrounded by other small factories and workshops. Gudia Toys & Games isn't a high-end showroom, it is more of a practical space where we handle all the toys and games that go out to the local markets. The air around here always smells a bit like plastic and cardboard because that is just what we deal with all day. We started small and stayed that way because it is easier to manage things yourself when you know every corner of the stockroom. There are boxes stacked up to the ceiling most weeks. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on, talking to the neighbors from the other units. It isn't a glamorous job but seeing the finished toys packed up makes you feel like the day was worth it. We don't do much advertising because people usually find us through word of mouth or by just stumbling into the lane. It is a simple setup, just us and the games, trying to make sure everything is sorted before the sun goes down. We don't have a lot of staff, just family and a couple of helpers who have been with us for years and know how we like things done.
