At G 202 Alaknanda Apartment in Rampuri, things are usually pretty busy. This is the home of Grassroot Research And Creation Pvt Ltd. It’s an apartment, but it functions as our main workspace. We have desks set up where the living room would be. It makes for a comfortable environment to do our research. We spend a lot of time on the computers and the phone. The creation part of our work happens right here at the dining table sometimes. We aren’t some massive company with a skyscraper. We are just a group of people working together in a local spot. The neighbors know us, and we try to keep the noise down. Research involves a lot of concentration. We are often buried in notes and spreadsheets. Grassroot Research And Creation Pvt Ltd is basically a small operation. We do what we say we do. We find information and we make things out of it. It’s not glamorous. There are coffee stains on some of the desks and the printer sometimes jams. But we fix it and keep going. Rampuri is a decent area to work from. It feels connected to the rest of the city without being too chaotic. We like being at G 202. It’s our base. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get through the day’s work.
