Grail Research

We are at Grail Research, located at 479 on the top floor. It’s the Dharmendra Kumar building in Dr Mukherjee Nagar. This whole area is basically the student hub of Delhi. Everywhere you look, there are people studying for exams or going to coaching classes. Being on the top floor means we’re away from the street level bustle, but the climb up can be a bit tiring in the heat. There’s no lift, so we just take it slow. The office is a bit compact, filled with books and papers and our computers. It feels very much like a place of learning because of where we are. We do a lot of deep research here. The roof gets quite hot in May and June, so we have to be careful with the cooling. Mukherjee Nagar has so many cheap food joints, which is great for lunch. You can find almost anything to eat within a two-minute walk. We have a small balcony where we sometimes stand just to watch the crowds below. It’s a very active atmosphere. Our space is simple—just enough room for the team to sit and work. We don't have any flashy signs. Most people who come here are looking for Dharmendra Kumar's place anyway. It’s an unpretentious spot in a very busy, academic part of the city. We just stay focused on our data and get through the day. It’s an interesting place to be located.
