Grail Research

Being at C7 163 in the SDA Flats across from IIT is a bit of a classic Delhi experience. It is an older building in the Hauz Khas area, and you can really feel that history when you walk inside. We are not in a modern office park; we are in a flat that we have turned into our workspace over the years. It has a very lived-in feel to it. There are books and files stacked up in various corners of the rooms. We do all our research work from here, mostly sitting at wooden desks that have seen better days. The SDA area is great because there are so many little cafes and shops nearby if we need to step out for a quick break or a snack. Grail Research has been using this space for a good amount of time now. It is not corporate at all. It feels more like a home that happens to have a lot of computers and desks in it. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the neighbors going about their day sometimes, but that is just part of the charm of living and working in SDA. We do not have a big corporate culture or anything like that. We just show up, do the research work that needs to be done, and then head home. It is a very human way to spend the day.
