Being based in Agra, specifically at Sector 15 in Sikandra, means we are away from the tourist crowds most of the time. Our office is in the Type III GPRA quarters at number 20. It's a standard government setup, nothing really fancy to look at. We handle things for the Govt Of India from here, mostly just administrative stuff that keeps things moving behind the scenes. The area is fairly residential, so it stays relatively calm during the day. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and the usual stack of papers that never seems to get smaller. Most of us have been working here long enough that we know every crack in the walls. It is a practical environment. We don't have a big reception area or a coffee machine, just a kettle in the corner for when we need a break. The commute isn't too bad for those of us living nearby. The building itself is quite sturdy but could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days. We just focus on getting through the tasks assigned to us each week. There is a small market nearby where we grab snacks sometimes. It is just a straightforward place to work. No one here is trying to impress anybody, we just do what we are supposed to do and then head home to our families when the clock strikes five.
