Goel Plastic Industries

You can find us over at G-985 in the Narela Industrial Area. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but this is where all the factories are. We have a decent sized space for our plastic work. The morning starts with a lot of noise as we power up the units and check the schedules for the day. Narela is quite different from the central parts of the city because there is a lot more space, but it’s still very busy with laborers and transport vehicles moving all day. We keep a close eye on the raw materials we get. If the plastic pellets aren't good, the whole batch is ruined, so we have to be careful with the suppliers. The floors are usually covered in some kind of dust or scrap pieces that we have to sweep up at the end of every day. We don’t really do any fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people just find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our sign near the gate. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but that’s how it goes in this industry. Lunch is usually a quick affair; someone brings food from home or we get something from the local vendor. The G-985 plot has been our home for a while now and we know all the neighbors. We just focus on our machines and the daily schedule. It’s a simple setup but it works.
