Gobind Textile

Gobind Textile is located in Kalkaji at J 2 58 A. We are a small fabric shop tucked away in this part of Delhi. We’ve got rolls of cloth stacked up all over the place, and it can be a bit of a maze sometimes if you aren't used to how we organize things. We deal with all sorts of materials and people come in looking for specific colors or patterns for their clothes. It’s a busy little spot, especially when wedding season comes around and everyone wants something new made. We aren't a big fancy showroom, just a place where you can find good fabric at a fair price. The shop has been in the family for a while now. We know the regular tailors and customers from around Kalkaji who come in every week. It gets a bit dusty with all the threads and cloth floating around, but we try to keep it as clean as possible. There’s usually a couple of us working behind the counter, cutting fabric and helping people figure out how much they need for a suit or a dress. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we like the people we meet. If you find yourself in the J 2 section of Kalkaji, look for 58 A. We’re usually there from morning till late, just keeping the shop going and helping whoever walks through the door. We don't do anything special, just sell fabric to folks who need it.
