Giri Zever Mahal

Giri Zever Mahal is a small shop located at A 11 in the Kalyanpuri Central Market. Being in a market means it’s always crowded and there’s a lot of shouting and noise outside. We’ve been in this spot for years. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of the walls and counters. We mostly deal with small items and repairs that people bring in. It's a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass cases. We aren't some high-end luxury brand. We’re just a local place where people come because they know us. Sometimes the lighting flickers, but we just ignore it. We have a small bench for customers to sit on while they wait. It’s a bit wobbly. Most of our day is spent chatting with folks from the neighborhood. Kalyanpuri is a lively area, and we like being part of the market buzz. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big marketing plan. We just open up in the morning and see who comes by. It’s a simple life. We keep our records in a big ledger book. Sometimes it’s hard to read my own handwriting. That’s just the way things go here at A 11. We are just happy to be here. We hope to stay here for a long time to come.
