Working in Okhla Industrial Area 1 means dealing with a lot of noise and movement. Our place, Gh Graphics Pvt Ltd, is at D 36. It’s an industrial block, so there are trucks coming and going all day long. Inside, it’s a bit different. We have the machines running, which makes its own kind of rhythm. It’s not a quiet office where you can hear a pin drop. There’s always the smell of ink and the sound of paper being moved around. We’ve been in this part of Okhla for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but the hustle stays the same. The staff here is used to the fast pace. We don't spend much time on decorations; we care more about making sure the machines are serviced and the prints come out right. Lunch usually happens at the small tables in the back or someone goes out to grab rolls from the nearby stall. The stairs are narrow, and we have to be careful when moving heavy boxes up and down. It’s a hardworking environment. We don't have a fancy lobby for visitors. Most people who come by are just here to drop off files or pick up their orders. It’s dusty outside because of all the construction and factory work nearby, but we try to keep the shop floor as clean as possible. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation where everyone knows their job and gets on with it. We stay late most Fridays.
