I work out of a place in New Rajinder Nagar, specifically at 379 in the Double Storey area. This part of Delhi has a very old-school feel to it. The building is one of those traditional double-storey houses that have been converted into workspaces. It is not a corporate tower. I have my desk and my files set up here. The neighborhood is quite lively with people living right next door to where businesses operate. You can hear the sounds of the local market and people talking in the street throughout the day. I have been here for a long time, and I know most of the neighbors. It is a simple setup. I do not have a big staff or a fancy reception. Mostly, I just handle my own tasks and meet people when they need to see me. The stairs are a bit steep, and the rooms aren't huge, but it is comfortable enough. I start my day with the morning paper and a cup of tea. Then I get to work on whatever is on the schedule. It is a very straightforward way of living and working. I like the fact that I can walk down the street and get anything I need. It is a practical location and it suits the kind of work I do. There is nothing complicated about it. It is just a person doing their job in a normal neighborhood. That is how I have always preferred it.
