Genpact

Our office for Genpact is located at 141 Dda Flats in Dwarka. Being in a residential DDA block in New Delhi makes for a different kind of workday than a big office park. It’s a bit quieter around here, though the sounds of the neighborhood still drift in through the windows. We’ve set up our equipment in one of the standard flats. It’s not very large, so we’ve had to be clever with how we arrange the desks and the servers. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking through various project details. There’s no lobby or reception desk here. If you walk in, you’re basically right in the middle of where everyone is working. It can get a bit messy with cables and stacks of folders, but that’s just life in a busy office. The kitchen is small, so we usually take turns getting lunch or just eat at our desks while we finish up tasks. We like being in Dwarka because it’s easy for the local staff to get to without spending hours in traffic. It feels more like a community spot than a corporate branch. We just keep to ourselves and make sure the work gets done by the end of the shift. It's a simple place with no frills, just people working hard together to get through the daily pile of documents.
