Genpact

Our office is over at A 23 in Sector 2. Rourkela 6 is where we have set up Genpact. It is a basic setup, nothing too fancy. We have been in this part of the city for a while now. The building is okay, it does the job. Usually, the mornings are the quietest time here before everyone starts arriving. We have a few desks and some old chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a long shift. Sector 2 is a busy place, so there is always something happening outside the windows. We try to stay focused on the work at hand. Sometimes the local market gets crowded, making parking a bit of a challenge around the block. We just tell people to arrive a bit early. Rourkela is a steel city, so it has that busy, hardworking feel to it. We like being part of that atmosphere. There is no big lobby or receptionist, just the door where we walk in. We keep the place tidy but it definitely looks lived in. Most of the staff live nearby, so it is a short commute for most of us. We have a small corner for water and some snacks. It is just a normal, everyday office where people put in their hours and then head home to their families. We usually close up around six or seven in the evening. It is just how things go for us here.
