We are based out of Flat 602 in the Sphinx Tower, which is part of The Nile Apartment complex on Sohna Road, Sector 49. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for an office since it’s in a residential tower, but it works well for our specific needs. Being on the 6th floor means it’s relatively quiet, and we get a good amount of sunlight through the windows during the day. We use this space to manage specific projects for Genpact India, and it’s a lot more relaxed than a typical corporate building. The kitchen area is where we all hang out during breaks, making coffee and catching up. We’ve turned the living area into a main workspace with several long tables and chairs. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work somehow. The Nile is a well-known society, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us once they get past the security gate at the front. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that; we just show up and do our work. Sometimes the elevators take a while to arrive, so we’ve learned to leave a few minutes early. It feels more like a shared workspace than a stiff corporate office. We handle our emails and reports and try to keep things moving along smoothly without too much unnecessary stress.
