Genesis Architects Pvt Ltd is out in Surajpur. Our office is number 10 on Dsc Road, right in the Kaishram Manager Market near the New Holland Tractor dealership. It’s a bit of a specific location, but once you find the tractors, you’ve basically found us. We spend our days drawing up plans and looking at building sites. It’s a lot of sketching and then fixing those sketches. The market is always loud with people and machinery, but it keeps things interesting. We aren't the kind of architects who only do huge glass towers. We work on whatever comes our way, from small houses to shops. The office is usually covered in blueprints and half-finished models. We like being in Surajpur because it’s where a lot of building is happening. We don't have a big team of secretaries. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. Dsc Road is busy, but we’ve got a good spot. We just focus on making sure the walls are straight and the roofs don't leak. It’s about being practical more than being artistic. Sometimes we have to go out to sites and get our boots muddy. That’s just part of the job. The tea vendor around the corner makes a great cup that helps us get through the late afternoons when we are finishing up drawings. We’ve been in the Kaishram Manager Market for a while and plan to stay.
