Gautam Sehgal Co is located at E 4, Gali No 1 in West Vinod Nagar, New Delhi 92, in the building belonging to Ram Narayan Rai. Being in a 'gali' means it is a bit of a tight squeeze for cars, so most people just walk or come by cycle. Our office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for folks to just step inside from the street. It is a typical local office with whitewashed walls that have a few scuffs on them and a tiled floor that we sweep every morning. We have a couple of computers, but there are also a lot of physical files because we still like to have things on paper. The neighborhood is very lively, and you can always hear the sounds of neighbors talking or the bell of the ice cream seller in the summer. We are a small team and we’ve worked together for so long that we don't really need to say much to know what needs to be done. We take our lunch breaks together, usually bringing food from home and sharing it in the back room. It’s not a fancy corporate environment, just a place where we put in our hours and try to do a good job for the people who seek us out. West Vinod Nagar has its own rhythm, and we have become a steady part of that over the years. We just keep our heads down and work.
