Garden Vatika

Our place, Garden Vatika, is situated at 317 in Palika Vihar. We are right by Bhikaji Cama Place, which is one of those busy hubs in Delhi where there is always something going on. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we take care of it. We spend our time managing the space and making sure everything is in working order for the residents. It's not a corporate office with hundreds of employees. There are just a few of us here. We handle the daily tasks, whether it's fixing a leak or talking to the people who use the space. Delhi can be a bit overwhelming with the noise and the heat, but we have our routine here in Palika Vihar. We don't have a set of core values written on the wall. We just show up and do what needs to be done each day. It’s a practical way to live and work. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, and sometimes we have to deal with grumpy visitors, but that's just how it goes for us. We’ve been at this address for a good stretch now. We know the local shops and the people who walk their dogs nearby. It’s a steady life and we are happy to be part of the local scene here. We usually close up around the same time every evening and head home. It is not the most exciting job, but it keeps us busy.
