Gajender Kumar Kaushik

Over at Tis Hazari on the Civil Side at 156, that is where I, Gajender Kumar Kaushik, have my space. It is a bustling area, as you probably know if you have ever been near the courts. There is always people rushing around with papers in their hands. My office is a bit of a retreat from all that chaos. It is filled with files and old shelves that I have had since I first moved in. I spend a lot of time reading through things and making notes. It is quiet work, but it keeps my mind sharp. I do not have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, I am the one who picks it up. If someone knocks on the door, I am the one who opens it. I think people like dealing directly with me instead of a middleman. The 156 address has been my second home for years. I know the guys who sell tea on the corner and the people at the stationery shop nearby. It is a community of its own. I do not put much stock in flashy websites or big advertisements. I just do my work and let that speak for itself. Sometimes I stay late when there is a lot to get through, but I do not mind. It is just the way things go when you run your own place. It is simple and it works.
