G D Builders

G D Builders is based out of G2 in Kunwar Singh Nagar, which is in the Nangloi area. It is a ground floor office, which makes it easy for workers and suppliers to drop by without having to climb any stairs. The office is pretty small and is often filled with samples of bricks, tiles, and bags of cement that shouldn't be there but are. We have a couple of desks and some very old filing cabinets that squeak every time you open them. Nangloi is a busy part of town, so there is always the sound of traffic and people outside the door. We don't have any professional decorators' touch here. The walls have some stains, and the floor is just plain concrete. It is a place where we plan out building projects and talk to contractors. Most of the time, the people in the office are wearing dusty boots because they just came back from a site. We don't use any fancy software for everything; a lot of our notes are still kept in spiral notebooks. It is a very hands-on way to run a business. We know our neighbors and the local shopkeepers. When we aren't out at a construction site, we are usually here drinking tea and looking over some handwritten estimates. It is a basic, hardworking environment where the main goal is just to finish the next job on the list.
