Freelancing

Our spot is over at B 32 in Badarpur Extension. If you know where Aggrawal Sweets is near the border, then you basically know where we are. It’s a handy place to be because there is always something going on. We call ourselves Freelancing because that’s really what we do day in and day out. It’s not a big corporation with rules for everything. We just take on projects and try to get them finished on time. The office is tucked away, and it’s nothing special to look at, just a regular building with people working inside. We’ve been at this for some time now. Most days are spent looking at screens and talking about how to fix whatever problem came up that morning. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff going on at once, but we make it work. The border area is usually crowded, so getting here takes a bit of patience, but once you’re inside, it’s quiet enough to get things done. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We’d rather just focus on the actual work people pay us for. It’s a practical way to run a business. We like the neighborhood, even with all the noise and the smell of sweets from down the street. It feels like a real place to work.
