Freelancer

My workspace is tucked away in Khirki Extension, over in Malviya Nagar. It’s J 4 70 A5, if you’re looking for the exact spot. It’s a busy part of Delhi, but that’s what I like about it. There’s always something happening outside. I work as a freelancer from here, mostly just sitting at my desk and getting through the daily grind. It’s a small space, but it’s mine, and I’ve got everything arranged just how I like it. I don’t have any fancy signs outside or a reception area. It’s just a place where work happens. Most of my time is spent on the computer, dealing with whatever needs to be finished by the end of the day. I try to keep a regular schedule, but being a freelancer means sometimes the hours get a bit weird. One day I’m done early, and the next I’m still working when the sun goes down. I don’t mind it, though. It’s better than being stuck in a cubicle somewhere else. Delhi can be loud and fast, but inside my little office in Khirki, things are usually pretty steady. I’ve been doing this for a while now and I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. It’s just me doing my thing, no fluff and no corporate talk. That’s how I prefer to run things. It is just basic work being done by a real person.
