Freelancer

I run Freelancer from A 45 Shakti Apartments Sector 9 Plot 5 Rohini. It’s a residential apartment, so it doesn't look like a business when you first see it. I’ve lived in Rohini for a long time, and setting up the office in Shakti Apartments was the easiest thing to do. It’s a bit cramped because of all the files and equipment I have stored here. Sector 9 is a busy part of the city, and there’s always something happening downstairs near Plot 5. My neighbors probably wonder what I do all day because I’m always at my desk. I don’t have any employees, it’s just me. I handle everything from the actual work to the billing and cleaning up. It’s a lot of work, but I prefer it this way. Sometimes I get distracted by the TV or the kitchen being so close, but I’ve gotten better at staying focused. The internet connection here is pretty good, which is lucky for me. I don’t use any corporate jargon or have a big vision. I just take things one day at a time. If a client is happy, then I’m happy. I don't need a fancy office in a glass building to do what I do. This apartment works just fine for me. It’s where I live and it’s where I work, and that’s plenty for what I need right now. Life in Delhi is fast, but I like my little quiet corner.
