Freelancer

Our small setup, Freelancer, is located right at 126 Pul Mithai Jatwara Delhi 6. If you know Delhi 6, you know how crowded and busy it gets every single day. There is always someone shouting or a rickshaw bell ringing outside the window. We have been in this spot for a few years now. It’s not a fancy place, just a room with enough space for our stuff and a few chairs for when people stop by. Working in Jatwara means we are right in the middle of everything. Sometimes it’s hard to concentrate with all the noise from Pul Mithai, but you get used to it after a while. We do all sorts of tasks here, mostly just whatever people need help with on their computers or paperwork. It is just me and one other guy most of the time. We don't have a big team or a human resources department. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to do it yet. We just keep busy with the work that comes in. Delhi 6 is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s where we started and we know the streets well. We don't really have a big plan for the future. We just want to keep the lights on and keep doing what we do. It’s honest work and it keeps us going day by day without too much fuss.
