Freelancer

I’ve been working as a freelancer for quite a while now from my place in Pandav Nagar. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you probably know how it is. It’s right near the Mother Dairy, which is basically the main landmark for everyone around here. My workspace isn’t anything fancy. It’s just a desk, a lamp, and my computer set up in a corner. I don’t have any employees or a big sign outside. It’s just me doing my thing day after day. The traffic outside can get pretty loud, especially with all the rickshaws and people moving about, but I’ve learned to tune it out. I mostly handle different projects for folks who need help with their tasks. Some days are really quiet and I just sit here typing away for hours. Other days feel a bit more chaotic with things piling up. I like the fact that I don’t have to travel across the city to an office anymore. New Delhi traffic is no joke, so staying put near the dairy is a huge relief. I usually go out for a quick tea at the local stall when I need a break from the screen. It’s a simple life, and I’m just trying to get the work done as well as I can. It’s not always perfect, but it works for me. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for years, so I’m used to the rhythm of the place.
