Free Lancer

Working as a freelancer from Mahavir Enclave in New Delhi keeps me pretty busy. I’m located over in E 19, right near the Palam Dabri Road. If you know this area, you know it’s always moving. There’s a lot of noise from the road and people are always coming and going. I’ve set up my little office here because it’s convenient and I don't have to worry about a long commute to an office block. My work is mostly done online, so as long as I have a good connection, I’m set. It’s not a fancy setup at all, just a desk and a chair in a room that stays relatively cool during the summer. I handle all sorts of different tasks for people who need an extra hand with their projects. Being a freelancer means you’re the boss, the clerk, and the cleaner all at once. It’s hard work and some days I feel like I’m working more than I would in a regular job. But the freedom to walk to a local shop for a tea break whenever I want is worth it. I’ve lived in this part of Delhi for a while and it feels like home. The address 110045 is where I do all my thinking and typing. It’s just me here, trying to make things work one day at a time without any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements to worry about.
