Floor World

Floor World is located over at D 2 on the Dabri Dwarka Road in Mahavir Enclave. It’s a pretty straightforward spot on a very busy stretch of road. The noise from the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. We have a lot of different flooring types piled up inside. The shop floor is usually covered in some bit of sawdust or scraps because we’re always moving things around to show people what’s at the bottom of the stack. It’s a bit of a workout every day, lifting those heavy boxes. We don’t have a lot of space for a big office, so the desk is tucked in the back where we keep the ledger and the phone. Most of our day is spent answering questions from people who just pop in while they’re passing by on the main road. We try to keep things honest and tell people what will last and what won't. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out with the door open to catch the breeze. It's not a polished environment by any means. We’ve got scratches on the walls from moving planks and old calendars hanging up. It’s just a regular local business trying to get through the daily list of tasks. We like being part of the Mahavir Enclave neighborhood and seeing the same faces every day.
