Everest Scissors

You can find us in Paharganj, right in the middle of all the chaos at 9238 5 Multani Dhanda. It’s a very crowded area, and the streets are always full of people, carts, and bikes. We’ve been working with scissors for a long time. Our shop is small and tucked away, filled with the smell of metal and oil. There’s always the sound of grinding and sharpening going on in the background. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we are used to it by now. The walls are a bit dusty, and we have shelves stacked high with different types of cutting tools. We spend most of the day standing at the benches or talking to people who drop by with something that needs fixing. It’s a gritty, practical kind of job. We don’t have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get made and repaired. The lighting isn't the best, so we use some old lamps to see what we are doing on the smaller pieces. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with all the noise from the market outside, but that’s just Paharganj for you. We know the other shop owners around here, and we usually get our lunch from the same place every day. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. It’s just how it is here in this part of Delhi.
