Our shop is over at Plot No D/70 in Shakurpur, right on Vikas Marg. It’s easy to find once you know the street. We’ve got the printers going most of the day and the smell of ink is pretty much everywhere. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the paper stacks and boxes, but we know where everything is. If you walk in, you’ll probably see a few of us hunched over a screen or checking a print run. We don't have a front desk person sitting around. Usually, whoever is free just wipes their hands and comes over to see what you need. Essar Graphics started out small and stayed that way on purpose. We like being able to see what's happening with every job. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine gets jammed, and we just deal with it. That’s just part of running a shop in this part of town. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or bright signs. Most of our tools have some scratches on them. People come to us because we’ve been here a long time. We do the work, pack it up, and that’s it. It’s a busy life here in Shakurpur. We mostly just keep our heads down and get the printing done. It’s a regular place for regular work. Nothing more to it than that. If the machines are noisy, we just talk a bit louder. We're used to it by now.
