Ernst Young

The Ernst Young office is at B 7 107 Extension in Safdarjung Enclave. This part of New Delhi is always moving, but our little corner is somewhat tucked away. The space is basically a few rooms where we handle our daily business. It’s not one of those tall buildings you see downtown; it’s much more grounded and local. We have a lot of stuff piled up on the shelves, mostly documents and old ledgers. The setup is a bit tight, especially when we have a few people visiting at once, but we make it work. Most of us have been working here for quite some time, so we know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. The power goes out occasionally, like it does in many parts of the city, but we just wait it out or use the backup. There’s a lot of trees around this block, which is a nice change from the concrete. Getting here is pretty easy if you know the Enclave, though the one-way streets can be tricky for first-timers. We don't have a fancy lobby or any corporate art on the walls. It’s just a place where we sit down, do the work, and go home. We keep it honest and try to stay organized as much as we can. There is a small chai stall just around the corner that we visit every morning for a break from the paperwork.
