Ernst Young Pvt Ltd is based in the Inderpuri area of New Delhi at A 107. This part of Delhi, with the pincode ending in 31, is a mix of houses and small businesses, and we fit right in. Our office is a simple setup on one of the floors of the A block. It isn't a huge place, just a few rooms where we have our desks and some storage for our documents. The neighborhood is usually quite lively, with kids playing in the streets and vendors selling snacks nearby. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist at a marble desk. Usually, if you come by, one of us will just look up from our computer and say hello. The walls are a plain color and we have some old calendars hanging up. It’s the kind of place where the tea kettle is always on because we drink a lot of it during the day. New Delhi summers are tough, so our air conditioner works overtime, and it makes a bit of a humming sound that we don't even notice anymore. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a flashy office. We just want a comfortable place to sit and finish the work we have to do. It’s a very local, regular way to run things in this part of town, and we like the familiarity of the Inderpuri streets.
