Ernst Young India Pvt Ltd is located at L 304 in Agrasen Awas, which is part of the 66 IP Extension area in Delhi. It’s one of those housing societies where a lot of different things are going on at once. We’ve been working out of this apartment for a while now, and it serves us well as a base of operations. The rooms are filled with folders and computers, and there’s always someone typing away or talking on the phone with a client. IP Extension is a bit of a maze if you don’t know your way around, but once you find Agrasen Awas, we are easy to spot. The atmosphere is pretty quiet during the day because most of the residents are out at their own jobs. We try to keep things low-key and just focus on the projects we have on our plate. Lunch usually involves someone going down to the local market to grab some rolls or tiffins for the whole group. We don’t have a fancy board room, so we usually just talk over the desks when we need to figure something out. It’s a very human way of working, without all the layers you find in bigger places. There is a lot of traffic on the main road outside, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the ceiling fans. We keep the doors open when the weather is nice to get a bit of a breeze.
