We are set up at 194 2 in the Mehrauli area of New Delhi. It is an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and full of character, though it can be a headache when we have deliveries coming in. The building itself has been around for a while. Working for Ericsson India Pvt Ltd here feels different than being in a glass tower. There is a lot of history in the air around Mehrauli. Our office is simple and functional. We spend most of our time dealing with the technical aspects of the business, making sure the connections are working and the data is moving. It gets loud outside with the markets and the people passing by, but we have gotten used to the noise. Sometimes we walk out for a quick bite during lunch, and there is always something interesting to see. The space inside is a bit cramped because we have a lot of files and gear, but we make it work. We don't really have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If someone knocks, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. It is a very direct way of working. Most of us have been here for years, so we know the quirks of the building, like which light switch is finicky. It is not a perfect setup, but it suits us just fine for the daily grind of the job.
